Who we are
Ross
Captain America Managing Director
Ross started Learn it with his wife, Pauline, in 2010. Ross spends his days keeping the team in order (much like Captain America). He's the creative side of the business and develops and trials new concepts. At the moment, Ross spends much of his time working on Learnit’s sister company, STEM Solutions. Working with schools and colleges, providing consultation and delivering Teacher Training (he's a LEGO Education Academy Teacher Trainer). He also Lectures part time in DCU on the use of LEGO in Education. He is also working on our latest project to bring our range of services nationwide.
Pauline
Wonder Woman Development Director
Pauline, along with Ross, started Learn it 2010. Pauline first studied multimedia design in college and earned her degree many moons ago. After several years in the media/av industry she retrained as a Montessori teacher and has owned & run two successful for the past 12 years. Pauline spends her days developing content for our range of camps and workshops along with the development of our policies and procedures. She also heads up the training of our staff throughout the year. Along with that she also lectures in early years’ education and keeps Captain America on his toes. She really is Wonder Woman.
Bobby
Batman Operations Manager
Batman, I mean Rob has been with Learn it for over 4 years. He oversees the day to day operations of Learnit. That's everything from emails, phone, school workshops, birthdays to spending hours upon hours sorting out LEGO. Some say that's his favourite part of the job. Essentially Rob does everything. He is also our lead instructor, he delivers all of our in-school workshops and is our main school liaison. If you're looking for an awesome school workshop, Batman Rob is your only man!
Mervyn
Iron Man Operations Manager Munster
Much like Iron Man, Mervyn is the brains of the team. Unlike Iron Man he doesn't have a fancy metal suit to fly to work in. He has a Learnit van. Some say that's better than fancy metal suit. Being the brains of the team Mervyn has more qualifications than the cast of The Big Bang Theory! He oversees the operations of our services in Munster and has grown what was two weeks of summer camps a year to 3/4 summer camps a week along with all the school workshops, events and festivals we take part in around Munster. So, if you're looking for anything to do with LEGO down south Mervyn & his team are ready to go.
